If you have an API Key, I’d recommend chatbox— though the filter is on the API, you can still see what it tried to say on there. (Though to use it between PC and phone, you need to export chat history and import it repeatedly between them)
@Logan_Kilpatrick Just a daily reminder. The issue is not resolved, no questions answered, we’re still here
I can confirm nothing has changed. I still can’t use AI Studio properly, as I’m being charged for content that gets deleted, which makes it unusable.
Oh, nice. Idk should I write about it here, but now I’m also constantly running into prompt not working because “permission denied”. After refreshing the page… well it stops being denied for 4-5 prompt more, then the same thing happens.
In my experience the permission denied problem goes away if you log out and log back in but its really weird that we have to do that every time
The question is still open
@Logan_Kilpatrick daily reminder again, the issue still is out there, no questions answered
@Logan_Kilpatrick still actually
To be honest, I think it’s already pointless. Their actions show their position, as Google representatives also respond to more recent questions, diligently avoiding these topics, ignoring the fact that we literally mention them in the chat, which means they should receive notifications.
To be honest, I’m already actively considering alternative venues, now I’m choosing between GROG and gpt playground.
Ai Studio 2026.
P. s. I want to know Logan’s opinion, considering that he said Ai Studio is designed for programming. And google has literally released a model for generating MUSIC! by making a separate “music” tab in the model selection window! And they are conducting TESTS of this model before a full-fledged release.
Yeah, Logan, yeah.
For a company like Google, censorship will always be a top priority. It’s easier for them to build a system that blocks too much than to risk letting something slip through. This isn’t a mistake — it’s a deliberate strategy.
At the same time, they won’t acknowledge these issues, even when users point them out.
If a complaint comes from a major company, they will respond quickly .But individual user complaints simply don’t create enough pressure.
And honestly, the logic is inconsistent. They claim AI Studio isn’t meant for creative writing — yet they’ve built features for generating music. So apparently, that counts as creativity, but writing doesn’t?
So the reality is simple: mass complaints are unlikely to change anything. They will continue doing what is profitable for them, not what is convenient for us.
Well, the advantages here are also questionable. Using the example of GPT with its attempt to introduce advertising, it becomes clear that AI at this stage does not bring much profit, if it does.
Google, as a company, tries to introduce artificial intelligence wherever possible, using it on YouTube instead of people accepting complaints and appeals. To discourage spending on AI.
However, at the moment, Google is mainly involved in a race. However, the question is how this field will develop if AI is already facing a hardware problem, which is why we have to look for solutions in the field of AI architecture.
I wouldn’t be surprised if companies have similar problems. To this day, individual programmers complain about syncing with individual sites, periodic file loss, and other problems. Just look at the general list of forum topics, there are a lot of interesting things there.
Plus, sometimes even censorship affects the programming process.
In fact, almost any AI system operates at a loss, just like Google and their Gemini. Even if corporations pay more than regular users, they don’t cover the actual costs of maintaining such systems or even their own queries.
Ironically, I tried asking the bot to write text in English, and Gemini easily passed through the English version (albeit in a more characteristically dry manner) of what was censored in Russian. I suspect their Slavic languages are simply underdeveloped.
@Logan_Kilpatrick nonetheless, here’s your daily reminder. The issue still persists.
It’s literally clear why censorship hinders not only creative users. What is it?
Nah it’s turning into ChatGPT. I’ve never ran into censorship issues with Claude and with Gemini model. And then AI Studio blocks me for prompts about characters having romantical relationships and for prompts about kittens.
More seriously, it may be also a translation issue, but it doesn’t drop the issue with prompts being fully deleted.
@Logan_Kilpatrick daily reminder
@Logan_Kilpatrick A daily reminder here as well.. We’d like to hear any response, really
Another example of censorship going wrong, and it’s even funny. Context: a waiter serving guests.
“Oh, sir, all our wines are the best, if you know how to look at them. Which one do you prefer? If I’m not mistaken, it’s a white brut, right?” Alex immediately wrote down in his notebook. “I can recommend one. Just today, a bottle from 1920 arrived; it’s a rarity, with a delicate fruity flavor and honeyed notes, with the tartness characteristic of long aging. Does that suit you?”
Alex served professionally, completely ignoring any jabs from the two men.
“But isn’t drinking on an empty stomach an insult to Italian winemaking, sir? I can suggest you pair our delicious seafood pasta with this wine; its richness will perfectly balance the acidity and reveal notes you never even suspected,” Alex smiled, speaking and promoting.
Leonard was taken aback for a moment. Alex is a good salesman. A good waiter who takes into account national characteristics. Leonard gritted his teeth like an Italian.
“Mr. Kenryoku, correct? You seem to have similarly refined tastes. Tell me about your preferences, and I can help you choose,” Alex addressed Masatoru kindly. “You look tense. For a relaxing drink, I recommend our signature whiskey, imported straight from Ireland. A smooth taste, perfect for warming up.”
Alex perfectly matched Masatoru’s demeanor. He didn’t even consider them significant, treating them like any other guests.
Alex paused.
“And since your wait will be long, as my intern’s shift ends in four hours, I can recommend a cheese platter of the finest Italian cheeses to go with the whiskey. How about that?” Alex sweetly told him to go to hell. And then he introduced the dish.
Masatoru also froze. In the end, both Valencia and Kenryoku actually ordered everything Alex tried to sell them.
Did the censors decide something illegal was going on here? What? Offering alcohol to two adults in a restaurant who were drinking? This isn’t even funny; the scene is literally SFW.
It’s actually nice that when you press
- Then it becomes possible to note that the request was blocked incorrectly. I hope our complaints are actually being heard.
Guys, pay attention to this and every time a request is blocked without reason, mark it in the AI studio.
