In AI Studio, sometimes a source file becomes obsolete. The AI tends to just delete all the content of such files, but they stay in the list of source files. It would be practical if they get some kind of mark so I know which files I can safely delete. It would be even better if the AI deletes them automatically.
Can this functionality be added, please?
Workaround: I regularly ask the Assistant to mark all redundant files by changing their filename.

I just ask it to make obsolete files empty and then provide me a list of their names. It works, but it’s a workaround for a problem that should not exist to begin with.
