I am posting here in parallel with our official appeal because our entire production environment is completely down, and we are locked out of our console.
Our project, kinta-app (ID: kinta-app-1dfa4), was automatically suspended by the Trust & Safety system for “abusive activity consistent with hijacking.”
This matches the exact widespread exploit currently hitting the developer community. A legacy client-side Firebase API key silently inherited Unrestricted Gemini/Generative Language privileges due to default platform scopes. A third-party botnet scraped the key and forced a massive, automated billing spike on premium Gemini models, triggering the automated account lockout.
Because of the absolute console lockout, we cannot access the project to rotate the credentials, delete the unauthorized resources, or apply Firebase App Check. Our legitimate, unrelated production application is completely offline.
We have filed a formal appeal and billing dispute, but our business cannot survive the automated queue delay.
Could a Google team member please intercept this and escalate our project ID to the Trust & Safety/Account Security team for a manual override or temporary unlock?
