Hi team, I wanted to share some feedback on the user journey regarding API Keys and Projects.
Issue: Broken Information Scent - “get additional features.” When I clicked through, I expected to see a feature comparison or a value proposition explaining what I was unlocking. Instead, I was dropped directly into the “Projects” file management view.
The Expectation: The CTA promised new capabilities (“additional features”).
The Reality: The destination was an administrative page (Project folders) with no context.
The Friction: I am being pushed to set up billing/projects without being told what specific capabilities I am gaining, which is confusing since I rarely hit quota limits on the free tier.
I’m also assuming I might be reporting this to the wrong forum, because I can’t find a single tag related to ui elements, gui, or user experience in general.
