After the switch over of the Code Assistant in the Build Section of AI Studio to 2.5 Pro, it is now completely unusable for me throwing “An internal error” flags ever other submission and corrupting code in my files !!! Is there anyway to switch back to the old code assistant ?
Looks like a general model problem. I read something about migration and would resolve itself after x time but my Gemini CLI is also useless atm. They can’t seem to make it stable most of the time, expect to lose multiple hours every week trying to use Google tools, sorry but thats the reality atm.
Yeah, using this on my code now results in an internal error every time for me!

Hello Lalit, from my perspective - guy that is spending 20hours+/week in build environment, I can tell you that assistant code is making very strange errors like “syntax error” , “no return in code that make void”, a lot of errors with backticks and he is making additional changes to thecss styles for exmaple that are not described by him - it looks like he remembers different versions of code for the same file and he is swithicng code sometimes ( it happens mostly with styles, css and tailwind css ). I would tell that assisatn code 2 month ago was far better than right now, I dont know why is that. If there is any possibility to report erros or giving feedback about somethign specific let me know, I am using it a lot, I can help.
