Claude Opus/Sonnet 4.6 consistently return "high traffic" error while quota is still available

I would like clarification on whether certain accounts have been restricted, and if so, what the correct path forward is.

Environment

  • OS: Windows
  • Antigravity version: [fill in from Help → About]
  • Affected models: Claude Opus 4.6, Claude Sonnet 4.6
  • Gemini models: working normally

Symptom

Requests to Claude Opus 4.6 and Claude Sonnet 4.6 fail with “Our servers are experiencing high traffic right now, please try again in a minute,” followed by “Agent terminated due to error.” The quota panel under Advanced Settings → Model shows capacity still available on these models.

Error ID: 7089bc97-7ca5-4c32-b364-dddc51632908-244-2010

Additional context

I should be transparent that I have been using multiple Google accounts with AI Pro subscriptions to complete my workload. Of these, some continue to work normally with Claude models while others consistently return the error above. The split appeared at the same time, on the same machine and network.

My questions:

  1. Is this the result of account restrictions, or a known bug?
  2. If restrictions have been applied, is there a supported way to resolve this?
  3. What is the intended path for developers whose workload exceeds a single AI Pro tier — are AI credits the correct mechanism?

I would rather understand the actual limits and work within them than continue troubleshooting something unresolvable.

Thank you.

Hi @testgrazvity ,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing these details.

Here are the answers to your questions:

  • Account restrictions or known issue: This is a server-side capacity issue affecting Claude models, not an account restriction, soft-ban, or network block. Running multiple accounts on your network did not cause this, which is why your personal quota remains available in your settings panel.
  • Supported resolution: Because no restrictions have been placed on your environment, no whitelisting or account reset is required. The supported way to continue working without interruption is to switch to a Gemini model (such as Gemini 1.5 Pro) in the model selector.
  • Higher workloads and AI credits: While Google AI Ultra and AI credit top-ups are the supported paths for higher-volume workloads, please note that the “high traffic” message is due to temporary upstream demand on Claude rather than a depleted credit balance. Switching to Gemini models in the selector remains the most effective workaround when Claude experiences high traffic.

Hope this helps clarify.
