Hello,
Me and a Lot of Users from India are using the Google AI Pro Plan offered via Jio,
Some of us have got this notification which says 3rd party access will not be available for us,
I need clarification regarding this since for Jio we have to keep recharging every month to retain our AI Pro eligibility, will this be considered as trial or will it be considered as paid plan?
Does Google AI Pro provided through the Jio promotion count as a trial under Antigravity’s “non-trial subscriptions only” rule? Is it eligible for Claude Sonnet 5.5 and Opus 5.5?
Hi @Mouhurtik, @tim_van_der_Meijden,
Welcome to the Forum,
Thank you for reaching out. Please find the details regarding account eligibility and model access:
- Partner Bundle Classification: Telecom partner offers (such as the Google AI Pro offer via Jio monthly recharges) operate under partner promotional entitlement agreements. While these bundles grant access to core Google AI models (such as Gemini Flash and Gemini Pro) from 2nd November 2026, third-party models (e.g., Claude models) require a direct paid Google One AI Premium subscription tier.
- Third-Party Model Access Requirements: Under Antigravity’s Models Policy third party models are only available on directly billed (non-trial) Google AI Pro and Ultra subscriptions. If your Google AI Pro plan is currently on an introductory trial, device promo or partner benefit, it is classified as a promotional plan and does not include Claude 5.5 access.
- Managing Your Subscription: You can review your active plan details, renewal status, and entitlement specifications at https://one.google.com/settings and Google AI plans with Cloud Storage - Google One.
To retain access to third-party models after that date, you will need to upgrade to a directly billed Google AI Pro or Ultra plan via Google One.
Not good.
Not good at all.
