I have been abroad on a conference in Italy and used my application to demonstrate to people.
Its an image based app that used 2.5 flash image.
Upon checking my billing this afternoon my usual spend had increased significantly. On further inspection I had been charged for Veo video creation and Gemini Pro image, which my app does not do.
I have managed to get some adjustment to my account through billing support, and i have also rotated my key just in case.
However, they also advised, that if a model is unavailable for any reason, Gemini may move to another model to complete the action.
Is this true?
I have manually set quotas to Zero for Veo and Gemini Pro image. Will this now prevent this from happening?
