In AI Studio, I can’t change the model’s temperature using the recent gemini-3.1-flash-lite (I remember that the previous gemini-3.1-flash-lite did allow that).
Is this intentional or a bug?
This is working as intended , for Gemini 3 models its recommended keeping the temperature parameter to the default value

I’m noticing that temperature is still modifiable through the API. Will it always be like that, or might you fully disable developers ability to modify temp in the future?
