# Cannot publish app from AI Studio: Cloud Run Quota Exceeded (ActiveRevisionsPerProject) & Permission Denied

Hello everyone,

I am using Google AI Studio to build my application, but I have hit a roadblock and can no longer publish or share new versions of my app.

When I try to publish the app, I get the following error:

> _Operation failed due to insufficient quota. Violation: Quota ActiveRevisionsPerProject current use of 4 in europe-west2 would exceed limit of 4._

I tried to fix this by going to the Google Cloud Console to manually delete older Cloud Run revisions, but I got a permission denied error:

> _Permission ‘run.revisions.delete’ denied on resource ‘namespaces/…/revisions/…’ (or resource may not exist)._

When I try to edit or manage the service, it tells me I need the run.services.update permission. Since this Google Cloud project is automatically managed and provisioned by AI Studio, I don’t have the Project IAM Admin rights to grant myself these permissions or clean up the old revisions.

Because I hit the limit of 4 active revisions and I am not allowed to delete the old ones, I am completely stuck and cannot deploy any new updates to my app.

Has anyone else encountered this issue, or does the AI Studio team have a workaround to clear old revisions or increase this quota for managed projects?

Hi Payal, I’m hitting the identical issue as Sayl — same quota/permission error pattern, different region (`us-east1`). I can’t send a DM from my account, so I can’t share billing details here yet — could you start a message thread with me, or let me know another way to get this info to you securely? This is blocking a production launch on a hard deadline, would appreciate any help.
