[BUG] Ultra tier quota misclassified as baseline/free tier (6-day reset lock on Claude 4.6)

Bug Description:
The user is currently subscribed to the Ultra/Pro tier, but their account has suddenly been dropped to basic level quota limits. When they attempt to use Claude Sonnet 4.6 (Thinking), they are blocked by an error message stating their baseline quota will not refresh for nearly a week (specifically showing a 7/14/2026 refresh date). Paid tiers are supposed to operate on a rolling 5-hour cycle, but the system is currently locking the user out on a free-tier weekly cooldown.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Log into a verified Ultra-tier paid account.

  2. Select the Claude Sonnet 4.6 (Thinking) model.

  3. Attempt a prompt or file change.

  4. Hover over the red quota warning indicator.

Expected Result: The user should have access to high-capacity tier limits, or a standard 5-hour rolling quota reset window.

Actual Result: The user experiences a hard lockout with a message saying: “Your plan’s baseline quota will refresh on 7/14/2026, 8:06:38 PM.”

(Note: The user’s screenshots of the exact error and model selection drop-down have been attached to this report for reference.)

Same issue here Google AI Ultra Max 20x Quota Issue: 20% Weekly Limit Gone in One Hour

Hi @Tim_Celins, Welcome to the Forum!

As mentioned in our documentation, there is a weekly baseline quota that runs alongside the normal 5-hour refresh system.

For Google AI Pro and Ultra users, the 5-hour refresh is mainly designed for regular, ongoing usage. However, once the full weekly premium quota is exhausted, the system transitions into a much longer cooldown period until the next weekly cycle resets. This is exactly why you might observe the wait time suddenly jump from 5 hours to a multi-day cooldown.

Hi @Ambati_Rajendra

While I understand that intensive agent workflows require heavy compute, hitting a sudden multi-day lockout is highly disruptive to active programming projects—especially on the premium Ultra tier.

Because the current product UI doesn’t show our remaining weekly baseline allocation, this sudden transition feels completely unprompted. It is difficult to manage workloads when the system abruptly shifts from a 5-hour refresh to a multi-day cooldown with no prior notice.

Are there plans to add a clear usage tracking meter to the Antigravity interface so users can monitor their remaining weekly quota before hitting a hard limit?

I think you misunderstood the benefits of your subscription. The quota increase in all plans is for Google models, no third party ones.
At this point the only reason I think Claude models are offered is because Google has an old active deal with Anthropic. If it was a main benefit then it would have been updated long time ago.
If you need access to Anthropic models with high quotas then get a subscription from them. Is like wanting to buy a Chevrolet car from Suzuki.

Have a good day.

EDIT: By the way, if you really need unlimited access to Anthropic models via Google then create a Google Cloud Project and use them via API Key with another agent harness. You can use the Google Cloud Credit subscription benefit from your subscription for that ($10, $40, $100 for Pro, Ultra 5x and Ultra 20x respectively). Antigravity doesn’t support access with API key but directly with a Google Cloud Project, so you will be locked to Google models exclusively (you lose Anthropic models but gain Gemini 3 Flash).
