I am an Ultra subscriber. Today, March 27, 2026, I experienced a complete failure of the AI Credits fallback system that caused me direct, measurable financial loss.
**What happened:**
My 5-hour baseline window ran out at around 16:30. I had 21,000 AI Credits available, clearly visible in Settings. Instead of switching to credits, Antigravity displayed: “You need at least undefined AI credits to send messages.” I was completely locked out. Restarting Antigravity, logging out and back in, opening new chats — nothing worked. Result: 2 hours of billable freelance work lost during an active client deadline.
**Context that makes this worse:**
This did not happen on day one of my subscription. My first billing cycle (end of February to March 25) ran completely normally. I renewed into a second cycle on March 25. By day 2 of the new cycle, the service was already broken. No email. No changelog. No announcement of any kind from Google. The baseline quota for Claude Opus 4.6 was silently reduced, and I started hitting the limit after roughly 1 hour of coding instead of my usual workflow. I activated AI Credits as a workaround. That worked for a few days — until today, when the credits system itself broke.
**The technical problem:**
“undefined” is a literal uninitialized JavaScript variable. Someone shipped broken code to production that cannot read the available credit count. The system can see the credits. It cannot use them. This is not a quota policy issue — it is a software bug that made a paid service completely non-functional.
**What I am asking:**
Not a fix. Not extra credits. Not a “thank you for your patience.” A full refund for this billing cycle, because the service I received is materially different from what was advertised.
I will be filing formally through Google One support. If that yields the standard copy-paste response, I will proceed with a bank chargeback and a formal complaint to the Consumer Authority, under EU Directive 2011/83/EU.
