The Issue: My account is showing a 168-hour (7-day) lockout until March 28. As a Pro subscriber, I should be on the 5-hour refresh cycle. This happened after very low usage, and it seems my account is being incorrectly flagged with the “Free Tier” baseline quota.

Request: Please sync my account status to the correct Pro limits.

this is a known issue that’s been hitting a lot of pro subscribers — your account is basically being treated as free tier even though you’re on the paid plan. the 7-day lockout is the free tier behavior.

you’re not alone, there are several threads about this. the ₹2 India student offer seems to have some provisioning inconsistencies on the backend.

a couple of things worth trying:

  • go to Settings → Model Quota and check what it shows for your plan
    • try the “reset quota” option if it appears (some people found this under settings)
      otherwise the only real fix is waiting for google to manually resync your account. i’d suggest replying here with your account details tagged to @Shivam_Singh2 — they’re a google team member who has been active on quota-related issues.
