Currently, the 5-hour and weekly model usage quotas in Antigravity are shared across all members of a Google One Family group. This creates a poor user experience for individual developers in a family group.
Issue Scenario:
- I shut down my PC at 11:00 PM (over 9 hours ago).
- I woke up and opened Antigravity at 8:00 AM, expecting a full 100% quota refresh.
- Instead, my 5-hour Gemini quota was already down to 39% remaining because another family member used AI features during the night/early morning on the shared family pool.
Impact:
- Developers waking up to start work find their 5-hour development capacity unexpectedly depleted through no action of their own.
- It makes quota planning unpredictable and frustrating for multi-user households.
Suggested Improvements:
- Per-User Quota Allocation: Provide dedicated individual quotas per family seat rather than a single pooled limit.
- Quota Usage Visibility: Show a breakdown of which family member or device consumed the shared quota in the settings dashboard.
- Primary User Reservation: Allow the primary subscription holder to allocate or reserve quota for active development sessions.
