[BUG] Antigravity entitlement missing - Google AI Pro provided by Jio, stuck in verification loop

My Google account has an active Google AI Pro membership, provided by Jio (promotional offer — visible on Google One → Manage membership → Current plan: Google AI Pro, labelled “Provided by Jio”).

Gemini web, the Gemini mobile app and AI Studio all work with AI Pro features. However the Antigravity desktop client can never pass the entitlement check: after a successful OAuth login it lands on “Further action is required to use Antigravity — Please verify your account, then sign in again to continue.” and returns to /onboarding. The loadCodeAssist response never yields a consumer tier, so the backend keeps treating the account as ineligible.

This looks identical to the already-reported “Jio Google AI Pro active, Antigravity entitlement missing / eligibility check failed” issue, so I am requesting a manual refresh of my account’s Antigravity entitlement record.

Account / environment

Google account ji**@gmail.com (personal @gmail.com, not Workspace)
Membership Google AI Pro — provided by Jio (promotional)
Antigravity version 2.14.0
OS Windows 11
Account region Japan (supported region, verified against the official availability list)
Age verification completed
Network clean Japanese residential IP (proxy:false, hosting:false, AS4713 NTT DOCOMO)

Evidence from language_server.log

[AuthProvider] SetEnableBusinessLogin called with enable: true
[AuthProvider] SetWIFProvider called with wifProvider: ""
[AuthProvider] SetProjectID called with projectID: ""
[AuthProvider] SetLocation called with location: ""
[AuthProvider] SetUserTier called with userTier: "", tierDisplayName: ""
URL: https://daily-cloudcode-pa.googleapis.com/v1internal:loadCodeAssist
URL: https://daily-cloudcode-pa.googleapis.com/v1internal:fetchAvailableModels
  • Auth succeeded is logged, and loadCodeAssist / fetchAvailableModels complete normally
  • No 401 / 403 / UNAUTHENTICATED anywhere — authentication works, entitlement does not
  • SetUserTier is never populated with a value after loadCodeAssist

What I have already tried (all ineffective)

  1. Region — account country set to a supported region (Japan); payments profile recreated with country = Japan.
  2. Age verification — completed at myaccount.google.com/age-verification.
  3. Payments profile — current profile is country Japan / individual. Note: Payments → Subscriptions & services shows “no subscriptions”, because the AI Pro membership is provided by Jio rather than purchased there.
  4. Third-party access revoked — removed two duplicate “Google Antigravity” grants at myaccount.google.com/connections, then re-authorised on a clean profile.
  5. Local state fully reset — %APPDATA%\Antigravity and ~/.gemini/antigravity cleared, then re-authenticated from scratch.
  6. Clean network — re-tested on a verified residential Japanese ISP IP (118.8.82.197, proxy:false, hosting:false), plus several other exits. Identical result on every exit, so this is not an IP-reputation issue.
  7. Waited well over a week for entitlement propagation.

Request

Please manually refresh / re-sync the Antigravity entitlement record for ji***@gmail.com so the Jio-provided Google AI Pro membership is recognised and the verification loop stops.

If that is not possible, could you please confirm whether Jio-provided (promotional) AI Pro memberships are supported for Antigravity, and whether the membership needs to be re-issued through a standard Google One billing profile instead?

Thank you.

Hi @jielunzhou334,

Thanks for the thorough report! Good news: this screen isn’t caused by your Jio plan. It’s a Google Account security check that runs during sign-in, before your plan is checked. Our team also recently rolled back a backend change that was causing some accounts to get stuck in this loop.

Please try this:

  1. Check your account security. At myaccount.google.com, make sure 2-Step Verification and a recovery phone are set up and verified.
  2. Use a single-account browser. Sign out of every other Google account in your default browser, so only this account is signed in.
  3. Verify again. In Antigravity, click Verify and complete the phone/QR prompt in that browser.
  4. Wait and sign in again. Wait 30–60 minutes, fully quit Antigravity, then sign in again.

On the Jio plan: once verification passes, you’ll be able to sign in however your plan was billed. Promotional or partner plans that don’t include the Antigravity benefit will still work, just on the Starter Quota rather than the higher AI Pro limits.

Let us know if you still see the verification screen after that!
