Dear Google Gemini Trust & Safety Team,
I am writing to appeal the restriction placed on my Gemini CLI access.
Due to an urgent work requirement, I previously continued my development workflow in Claude Code after my Claude usage quota had been exhausted. During this process, I mistakenly used Gemini via an unauthorized third-party wrapper (Antigravity). I now understand that this violated Google’s Terms of Service for Gemini CLI usage.
I want to sincerely acknowledge my mistake and take full responsibility for it. This was not an attempt to bypass safeguards intentionally, but rather a poor judgment made under time pressure. I fully recognize that this does not excuse the violation.
Since becoming aware of the issue, I have taken the following corrective actions:
- Immediately uninstalled all unauthorized third-party tools related to Gemini usage
- Revoked OAuth access for Gemini CLI, Antigravity, and any related applications from my Google Account security settings
- Ensured that all future usage will strictly follow official Google SDKs and approved APIs only
I respectfully request that you consider reinstating my Gemini CLI access. I greatly value Gemini as part of my development workflow and assure you that I will comply fully with all usage policies going forward. I am committed to preventing any similar issues in the future.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration. I appreciate your support and understanding.
Kind regards,
Marvin Chang
