Appeal for Account Disabling

Dear Google AI Support Team,

I had recently tested pi.dev, and I was not using Gemini CLI for anything else, I was under the impression, just like OpenAI subscription being used in pi, thought this was allowed as well. I was not aware that using this specific third-party CLI tool or the OAuth bridge method might violate Google’s Terms of Service. I have always valued the integrity of Google’s AI ecosystem and would never intentionally engage in activities that compromise the platform.

I have been a Google AI Pro customer and I only use Gemini CLI for personal projects and I’m not abusing any limits. Please help me restore access for this account.

Thank you so much.

Good luck getting help.

I’m also a Google AI Pro customer. That doesn’t help. Paying customer or not, nobody is there to care.

Calling Google One? Pointless and a total waste of time.

I wonder if even pi.dev know that people get banned, because they issue no warning either.

Why not just send an email with a warning before doing the ban? Nope, sorry, that would require the Google AI team to actually care about paying customers.

They encourage you to appeal, with max processing time 72 hours. Do they uphold self-imposed deadline? No. Again, that would require an actually human being to care about how they treat their customers.

So when you write “Google AI Support Team”, that sounds more like your expectation than the actual situation. My guess is that there is no team. It seems like there is nobody actually.

I had a similar experience contact Perplexity support. After a month of talking to an AI support bot, a human being finally came back to me and solve the issue.

It has now been a week since I sent my appeal. I expected resolution within 24 hours. It has more been a week.

I fear it will take more than a month. Bigger corporation. Slower response time.
