However, there is one major positive takeaway from this update: the memory consumption is significantly lower during workflows. In the previous version, Antigravity was an absolute RAM hog and felt incredibly heavy. But this time around, I’ve noticed a drastic change that cuts down memory usage, making the app run much lighter when it starts working.
I guess this is the benefit of overhauling the visual UI into a chat-centric layout, as the system no longer needs to constantly render complex file structures and heavy IDE components on the main screen. So while the lack of direct control is disorienting, at least it saves our system resources from being completely tanked
