PROBLEM ONE: UPGRADING WITHIN OLD ANTIGRAVITY CAUSES THE WRONG THING TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL - we should have been caused to download the IDE, not whatever this wreck was.
PROBLEM TWO: NO SOLID INSTRUCTIONS TO USERS - I should not need to elaborate on this
PROBLEM THREE - you broke developers’ “production environments” as though you hadn’t a single care in the world.
Readers: join me in complaining to Google about their disregard of productive environments. Lately, at least 2 times out of 4 or 5, upgrading results in a broken and borked development environment, leaving us to scramble forums and pull web searches to fix it. THIS WAS SO AVOIDABLE. You’re not warning us, you’re shipping the wrong upgrades, this is a bloody mess.
Google: WHEN WILL YOU QUIT TREATING US DEVELOPERS LIKE TRASH WITH YOUR RELEASES?
NOTE: The solution is to download the “Antigravity IDE” package, which is what should have pushed to us during “upgrade.” Further excoriation of Google developers is suppressed at this time because I don’t want to get banned.
