Antigravity IDE: 429 Error on First Message / Frozen Quota (AG-859) - TraceID: 0x4833300e78*******

Hi Google AI Support Team,

I am currently experiencing a quota synchronization issue in my Antigravity IDE that is completely blocking my usage. I am receiving a 429 “Resource Exhausted” error on my very first prompt.

Here are the specific details of what I’m seeing:

  • Error: HTTP 429 Resource Exhausted.

  • Environment: Antigravity IDE.

  • Symptoms: All model quota bars are displaying as 0% filled, and the countdown timer is permanently frozen at “Refreshes in 4 hours, 59 minutes”.

  • Suspected Bug: AG-859 (Backend desynchronization).

  • TraceID: 0x4833300e78*********

Since this appears to be a backend desync issue, standard local troubleshooting (clearing cache, restarting) hasn’t resolved it. Could you please trigger a manual quota reset for my account so I can get back to work?

Hi @Megane_Hebo,

The ‘HTTP 429 RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED’ error combined with a quota timer frozen at ‘4 hours, 59 minutes’ occurs due to a local authentication entitlement cache desynchronization, where the client holds stale rate-limit claims despite your active plan.

To resolve this issue and restore your quota, please follow these steps:

  1. Open the Command Palette in Antigravity by pressing Ctrl+Shift+P (or Cmd+Shift+P on macOS).
  2. Search for and select ‘Antigravity: Reset Onboarding’.
  3. Alternatively, close Antigravity and delete the local auth cache file located at %APPDATA%\Antigravity\auth_cache.json (or ~/.config/antigravity/auth_cache.json on Linux/macOS).
  4. Relaunch Antigravity and sign in again to re-sync your account entitlement.

Let me know if the issue persists or the issue resolves?
