I wanted to check in on the development status of Antigravity IDE. The latest release (v2.5.5) dates back to August 13, and since then, several stability and usability issues have accumulated without a follow-up patch or hotfix.
As daily users, we’re encountering multiple bugs that disrupt regular workflows, but there hasn’t been any update or roadmap clarification recently.
Could the maintenance team share:
Is there an upcoming patch release (v2.5.6) planned soon to address known regressions?
What is the current focus of the roadmap?
If others in the community are also facing blocking bugs in 2.5.5, feel free to reply below so we can aggregate the critical issues for the maintainers to see.
Thank you for your feedback and for using Antigravity. To answer your questions directly:
Version 2.5.5 is currently the latest stable release of the standalone Antigravity IDE. We do not share specific ETAs for future releases in advance, as builds are rolled out only after completing testing and qualification. Future updates will be announced in the Antigravity Changelog and pushed automatically via the in-app updater.
While we cannot share specific forward-looking roadmaps publicly, our current engineering focus is on platform stability, addressing community-reported regressions, and model upgrades (such as the recent server-side rollout of Gemini 3.8 Flash on v2.5.5). We are also expanding agentic workflows across the Antigravity 2.0 desktop app, CLI, and IDE extensions.
