I’m experiencing an authentication issue with Antigravity that seems to be specific to my Google AI Pro account.
The problem:
After clicking “Log in with Google” and completing the OAuth flow, I get the error:
“There was an unexpected issue setting up your account. Please try again later.”
The status bar shows “Antigravity: Authenticating” for a while before the error appears.
Key finding:
I tested with another Google account (non-Pro) on the exact same device and network — it authenticates successfully. This rules out device or network issues and suggests the problem is account-specific.
What I’ve already checked:
- Google AI Pro subscription is active at one.google.com
- No pending payments or account warnings
- No ban or suspension email received
- Issue persists across multiple attempts over several days
- Already contacted gdp-premium-support@google.com
Has anyone else experienced this? Any workarounds?
