I have a problem, which I saw it was happening few months ago, but it’s persisting for me. Antigravity App is not starting at all.. Starting the app through Powershell leads to an error:
ERROR: GPU process exited unexpectedly: exit_code=-2147483645
FATAL: GPU process isn’t usable. Goodbye.
I’ve done a clean install and I downloaded and installed the latest version (2.14.0), but it’s not working. I have the latest Nvidia GeForce drivers, and my PC is up-to-date.
When I start the Antigravity.exe with --no-sandbox prop it works, but I don’t want to disable the sandbox environment..
Here are my specs:
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER (8 GB)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor (3.80 GHz)
RAM: 64 GB 2400MHz
OS: Windows 11 Pro 25H2
OS Build: 26200.9445
I’m using the Antigravity standalone IDE, and I don’t have a problem with it. Back when I installed the IDE I also installed the app, and it did worked, but I haven’t used it.. now I want to give it a try, but no luck.
If Step 1 fails due to a third-party GPU overlay or driver hooks (e.g., RivaTuner, NVIDIA overlays), you can selectively bypass the GPU sandbox while retaining workspace/renderer sandboxes.
Open or create the configuration file in PowerShell:
notepad "$env:USERPROFILE\.antigravity\argv.json"
Add the following JSON configuration:
JSON{
"disable-gpu-sandbox": true
}
Save the file and restart Antigravity.
Let me know is the issue resolves or the issue still persists!.
