Antigravity 2.5.x — Roblox Studio MCP fails to load, but works correctly on version 2.3.1

Hello,

I would like to report an issue with the Roblox Studio MCP connection in Antigravity.

Problem

When using Antigravity 2.5.x, the Roblox Studio MCP fails to load and displays:

“Failed to load MCP servers”

What we checked

We checked the Roblox Studio MCP configuration in Antigravity.

We verified the Roblox MCP launcher (mcp.bat).

We verified that StudioMCP.exe exists in the Roblox Studio installation.

We also checked the Roblox installation paths using Windows Command Prompt.

The MCP launcher was present and the StudioMCP executable was present.

Troubleshooting

We tried several things to determine whether the problem was caused by the Roblox installation:

  1. Checked the MCP configuration.
  2. Checked the mcp.bat file.
  3. Checked the path to StudioMCP.exe.
  4. Verified that StudioMCP.exe was present.
  5. Tested the MCP launcher from Command Prompt.
  6. Reinstalled Roblox Studio and its related files.
  7. Tested the connection again.

The problem remained after reinstalling Roblox Studio.

What finally solved the problem

We downgraded Antigravity by two versions, to version 2.3.1.

Without changing the Roblox Studio MCP configuration, the connection started working normally.

After switching to Antigravity 2.3.1:

  • Roblox_Studio loaded successfully.
  • The MCP connection worked.
  • 27 tools were enabled.

Conclusion

The same Roblox Studio MCP configuration works correctly on Antigravity 2.3.1 but fails on Antigravity 2.5.x.

Based on this test, the problem appears to be related to the newer Antigravity version rather than the Roblox Studio MCP installation.

Thank you.
