Antigravity UI is refreshing/hard repainting every couple seconds recently. This makes it impossible to scroll up and read the chat history/markdown renderings, because the scrollbar position resets every few seconds.
This does not happen when viewing code diffs or file contents, only markdown renderings.
I have the same issue, it scrolls up all of a sudden and does it very frequently, earlier I didn’t have such an issue.
I have tried every combination to fix it, maybe i should just downgrade the app.
But I really urgently ask for devs to come up with a fix please.
It’s not quite annoying enough for me to downgrade, though when it is happening it’s extremely annoying because it’s just long enough to make you think it won’t do it… aaaand then it does it!
I am too lazy to time it exactly, but it seems to be its worst when there are code flow charts/diagrams or just a lot of markdown rendering.
Actually they have fixed it. There is a new upgrade 2.6, download it and it will fix it.

Unfortunately, when I click “Check for Updates”, it says there are no updates available. Though I do see on the Antigravity Changelog the 2.6.0 update! I could download it but there was a bit of an issue when I upgraded from 1.x to 2.x and I don’t want to lose my chat conversations at the moment. It is a huge product, and they do have “New versions are rolled out gradually and may take a few days to reach all users.” at the top of that changelog, so I’ll give it a day or two.

Hmm, still Antigravity says there are no updates available. I double-checked, and I do have auto-update enabled. I know they had an issue before where the auto-updater got cut out of the loop and it had to be manually updated. @Erhan_KUL , were you on 2.5.0 and did yours auto-update?
I have manually downloaded the 2.6 from Google Antigravity - Releases
You just download and install it. It also didn’t show me auto update. It would work for you as well

We attempted to reproduce this rendering issue on our end (latest version), but the scrollbar is currently behaving as expected and we were unable to replicate the constant repainting.
Could you please update Antigravity to the absolute latest available version? ( If the ‘Check for Updates’ button does not pull the newest version, please try downloading and installing the latest build directly from our official download page: https://antigravity.google.com/docs ).
After updating and completely restarting Antigravity, if the scrollbar is still jumping, kindly let us know.
After manually updating to v2.6.0, the markdown rendering issue is fixed AFAICT. I’ve only done initial testing, but it is not jumping every few seconds like it was before (I did finally time it by just counting and it was about every 10 seconds).
Previously, even after restarts and switching between active conversations, etc., this rendering + scrollbar issue always occurred - both in chat (which renders markdown) and when rendering *.md files in the side panel (not code diffs).
So I am hopeful that it is fixed! If it comes back, I’ll try doing some more thorough testing, but hopefully that won’t be needed.
