Hi everyone,
I’m currently checking my usage in the Google AI Studio dashboard, and I think I might have accidentally broken the billing system—or at least, the system thinks I’m running an entire data center by myself.
My monthly spend is usually around £10, which is pretty standard. However, my dashboard currently displays a “Monthly spend cap” usage of:
ÂŁ1,844,674,412.93
Wait… 1.8 billion pounds?
I’m pretty sure I haven’t triggered enough API calls to buy a small island. Looking at the number, it’s clearly an integer overflow (2^63 - 1). While I’m sure this is just a front-end UI glitch and not a reflection of my actual debt, it’s a bit alarming to see such a massive number on my billing page.
I’m posting this because:
- I want to make sure the engineering team is aware of this overflow issue in the dashboard.
- I’d like to confirm that this is purely a visual bug and that my account won’t be suspended or charged based on this error.
Has anyone else encountered this “billionaire-level” spending bug in their dashboard recently?
Attached is a screenshot of my dashboard for reference.
Looking forward to hearing from the team or anyone who has dealt with this before!
