I would like to request allowlist access for my Vertex AI project to enable the following preview model:
Model needed:
- gemini-3-pro-image-preview (Nano Banana Pro)
Project Information:
- Google Cloud Project ID: gen-lang-client-023937…
- Region: global / us-central1
- Vertex AI API: Enabled
- Billing: Enabled (Active Free Trial Credit)
- Tier: AI Studio Tier 1 (paid)
Use Case:
Educational AI character video pipeline for short-form content (X / Twitter).
Producing approximately 20 episodes (90s each) explaining the Claude AI ecosystem
to Japanese-speaking beginners.
Specific use of gemini-3-pro-image-preview:
- High-fidelity character asset generation with consistent identity (Japanese SD-style character “Sana”)
- Precise Japanese text rendering for video thumbnails (series branding)
- Reference-image-based generation (I2I) using existing character sheets
Tech Stack:
- Image generation: Gemini API (currently nano-banana via AI Studio)
- Voice synthesis: VOICEVOX (local)
- Background music: Lyria 3 Pro Preview
- Composition: Pillow + ffmpeg (local)
Scale:
- Initial burst: ~30 images (character asset re-generation in higher quality)
- Steady state: ~10 images/month (new thumbnails for new episodes)
- Token usage: <500K tokens/month
Why migrating to Vertex AI:
Currently using AI Studio API for image generation, but I have active GCP Free Trial
credits that I want to leverage. AI Studio API charges are not covered by Free Trial,
while Vertex AI charges are. Migration to Vertex AI route allows me to use the
allocated credits for production use.
Fallback Plan:
If Allowlist access cannot be granted, I will continue using gemini-3.1-flash-image
on Vertex AI. There is no public release blocker - this is a quality enhancement
request.
