Hi team, we would like to request allowlist access to the Live API bidi models on Vertex AI.
Project ID: getprofi-viral-500812. Billing: enabled (active billing account with trial credits). Primary region: global (us-central1 also fine). API surface: Vertex AI Live API, LlmBidiService/BidiGenerateContent. Models requested: gemini-3.8-live and gemini-3.8-live-extended-thinking.
Use case: a Russian-language voice agent for small and medium businesses: inbound call handling, appointment booking and outbound calls. It already runs on the Gemini API (AI Studio key, paid tier), and we would like to move it to Vertex AI for data residency and enterprise controls, billed to our existing account.
Current behaviour: connecting to wss://aiplatform.googleapis.com/ws/google.cloud.aiplatform.v1.LlmBidiService/BidiGenerateContent with model projects/getprofi-viral-500812/locations/global/publishers/google/models/gemini-3.8-live is closed with 1008 “Publisher model … was not found or your project does not have access to it”. The same setup works fine on the Gemini API. Thank you!
