I am wondering, if it is possible to allow users to do simple modifications to the screen designs generated by Stitch? For example, click an image to select it and hit the Delete key to delete it from the design, rather than giving the prompt “Delete the avatar image above the name.”
I am aware with every screen design there is a page of HTML code behind. So theoriticaly Stitch should be able to detect the actioned changes and update the design and the HTML code behind?
Other example is to drag and drop fields to arrange them.
Where did I come from for these suggestions? I got Stitch to design a Candidate Details screen. Stitch included an Avatar image in the screen. I have made more than 10 attempts to ask Stitch to remove the Avatar without success. I used prompts like:
”Remove the image.” (which is the only image on the screen)
”Delete the image above candidate name.”
”Delete all images from the screen.”
”Delete the background image from the screen.” (After reviewing the HTML code and found that it appeared to be a background image.)
Stitch either replaced the Avatar image with a non-headshot picture, or changed the headshot from front facing to side facing, while it responed with text “The image is totally removed from the screen now.”
If I can just click on the Avatar and hit Delete to remove it, it could’ve saved an hour. For now I think I’ll need to workaround this issue by pasting the design into an image editor tool to remove the Avatar.
AI should be assisting the screen design tool, while the screen design tool should not be restricted by AI.
