Antigravity currently defaults to Gemini 3.1 Flash Image, but the strict limit of around 6-7 images per 5-hour window is a major bottleneck during active workflows.
Adding support for Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite Image (Nano Banana 2 Lite) would make image generation far more viable for iterative tasks. Because the Lite model has significantly lower compute costs, it could offer a much higher generation quota.
Alternatively, it would help if image generations drew from the general Gemini Flash plan quota rather than being throttled by a separate, highly restrictive per-image limit.
