AI Studio responding with "invalid argument" for every request no matter the form

Does any know why, all of a sudden, I am getting “invalid argument” for any thing I type in to AI Studio?

Edit: It was the chat history. Clearing it cleared up the issue.

did anyone ever respond? i’m still getting this 7 straight days, and now am officially moving away from google ai studio.

Not even clearing the chat history I´m able to generate anything. A week before I was able to export directly from stitch and generate the app preview and code and everything was perfect idk what´s going on

I tried many different ways to fix this problem, and I finally found a solution that actually works.

You need to downgrade the app version by at least 1 version.
For the best results, I recommend going 2 versions back from your current version.

After changing the version, reload/restart the app completely and try again. This is important because the app may still be using cached data or the previous version until it is reloaded.

Recommended steps:

  1. Downgrade the app by at least 1 version.

  2. Ideally, downgrade it by 2 versions.

  3. Completely reload/restart the app.

  4. Try the same action again.

This was the solution that worked for me after trying many other methods.

  • Project ID/Billing ID.
  • Model name .
  • Framework (e.g: React/ Android /Next Js etc)
  • Applet ID where you are getting this errors
  • Prompts you are using when you get this error ?
