Hello Google AI Studio Support,
I’m experiencing an issue with Google AI Studio billing.
My setup is as follows:
- I activated a Google Cloud Billing account.
- I have an active Google Cloud Free Trial credit of approximately ₹28,710 (around $300), and it is shown as Available in Google Cloud Billing.
- My Gemini API is enabled.
- My API key is linked to the same project with billing enabled.
- My project is on Tier 1.
- The Gemini Playground works correctly, and I can successfully generate responses.
However, when I use the AI Studio Build/Remix feature, I receive:
- “Upgrade to continue your flow”
- “You’ve reached your limit for the day”
- “Quota limits exceeded”
In the AI Studio Billing page, I see:
- Credit balance: ₹0.00
- “A credit balance above $0 is required to resume service. Eligible GCP credits, if any, will be applied first.”
- Credit Summary: “No credits yet”
Google Cloud Billing still shows my Free Trial credits as active and unused.
Could you please verify why my eligible Google Cloud trial credits are not being recognized by AI Studio, and why Build/Remix reports “No credits” even though my API works correctly?
Billing was activated yesterday, so if this is due to a synchronization delay, please let me know the expected timeframe.
