Hello,
My Android app built with AI Studio (app ID: d867b5d2-b53a-4438-a2c6-e2588dd51a73) cannot be built anymore since Sept 21, 2026.
What happened:
- Builds were succeeding normally.
- During one build, the agent reported an unexpected server container restart (Cloud Run / gVisor).
- Since then, every build fails before compilation with:
“Directory ‘’ does not contain a Gradle build.”
or: CORTEX_STEP_TYPE_COMPILE_APPLET … generic::INTERNAL … 502 Bad Gateway (nginx) at BuildAppletAction.execute(BuildAppletAction.kt:79) - Restoring a checkpoint did not help. A build-only prompt with no changes fails the same way.
What works:
- A Remix of the same project builds successfully, with identical Gradle files. So the project itself is fine; only this app’s build container seems broken.
Why this matters:
- The app is published on Google Play through the AI Studio Publish button. Its upload key and Play connection belong to the original app, so I need the original app to build again.
I already submitted a bug report from inside the app. Could someone from the AI Studio team please reset or re-attach the build container of this app, keeping its files, history, upload key and Play connection?
Thank you.
