I’m on the Google AI Ultra plan and have been using purchased AI Credits with Claude Opus 4.6 for my daily workflows. My typical credit consumption has been consistently around 1,000 credits per day.
Today, June 21, 2026, with significantly lighter usage than usual, my credits have already dropped by approximately 10,000 — roughly 10x my normal daily consumption. Nothing has changed on my end: same plan, same model (Claude Opus 4.6), same type of tasks, no version update.
I’ve checked the AI Credit Overages toggle and it is not set to “Always”. This does not appear to be a user-side configuration issue.
Has anyone else noticed a sudden spike in credit consumption today? Could there have been a backend pricing change or a billing calculation bug introduced recently?
same, hope it’s just a bug ![]()

When I use Claude Opus on Antigravity Ultra, I hit the limit in about an hour. Previously, I had so much usage available that I couldn’t use it all up.
Now, based on my own experience, I can only use about 1/20 of what I could before.
I contacted the official team, and they explained that this is not a bug but intended behavior, so I canceled my $200 plan.
I have not experienced the issue where the quota decreases in the background without me noticing.
