Agy remote control bug

I’m having an issue with Antigravity Remote Control where the active chat seems to constantly disappear or reload.

What happens:

  • I open a chat and start interacting with it.

  • While waiting for a response, the chat sometimes disappears or reloads.

  • Even after a response has finished, simply scrolling through the conversation can trigger the same behavior.

  • If I then send a new prompt, it seems like the prompt is actually being processed in the background.

  • However, once it finishes, the UI jumps back to the old state and I only see the previous response. The newly generated response is not shown.

So it looks like the backend/session may still be working, but the Remote Control UI keeps reverting to an older version of the conversation.

Has anyone else experienced this or found a workaround?

Hi @Till, Welcome to the Forum!

Could you please share a few details:

  • Could you please share the Antigravity Version you are using?
  • If it is possible, could you please share the exact reproduction steps to reproduce this issue?

Hi, sure.

I am using the CLI on Version 1.2.14 right now but this issue has existed basically the entire time since remote control launched.
There really isnt any specific step to reproduce this. Whenever using remote control this happens. On mobile or Chrome on PC.
My setup is this: On my always-on PC the daemon (agy remote-control serve) is running constantly in the background to allow me to use remote control whenever I want.
And it does work to the extent that the isntance is reachable, I can create new tasks etc. It just doesnt update and display correctly in the actual remote GUI.

Anybody any ideas what I could try to fix this?

I see similar issues. It only gets worse the longer the chat.

I also wish that if you are on the same network the remote control was direct so that I have a shorter path between Antigravity and Chrome/Chromium.

Even better would be a dedicated app.

Worked well yesterday for me… Not sure if its sustainable though

Hi @Till,

Could you please upgrade to the Latest Antigravity CLI Version v1.3.1 and let me know is the issue resolves or the issue still persists?
