Hello, my Google AI Studio API key is currently being issued starting with “AQ.” instead of “AIza”. This is causing a 401 Unauthorized error in my application and preventing me from proceeding with development. Could you please check and lift the restriction on my account so I can get a standard “AIza” key? Thank you.
We are moving away from Traffic keys (Alza) and towards a more secure Authentication Key (AQ). AI Studio will now only generate Authentication Key (AQ) keys. More information on key usage can be found in the Using Gemini API keys documentation.
