Hello Google Gemini API Team,
I am requesting a manual review of my Gemini API access.
My project is unable to use Gemini API content generation. Every generateContent request returns:
HTTP 403 PERMISSION_DENIED
{
“error”: {
“code”: 403,
“message”: “Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.”,
“status”: “PERMISSION_DENIED”
}
}
Project name:
CODE 1440 Gemini
Project ID:
code-1440-gemini
I have performed direct REST API tests outside of my application.
Test 1 — List models:
GET https://generativelanguage.googleapis.com/v1beta/models
Result:
HTTP 200 OK
50 models returned
gemini-3.6-flash is present
Test 2 — Direct content generation:
POST https://generativelanguage.googleapis.com/v1beta/models/gemini-3.6-flash:generateContent
Result:
HTTP 403 PERMISSION_DENIED
Error:
“Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.”
I tested this directly from PowerShell using the API key, without using my Android application or Supabase backend.
I also tested both API keys associated with this project, and both receive the same 403 error when calling generateContent.
Google AI Studio chat itself works normally.
The Gemini API / Generative Language API is enabled for the project.
My intended use is personal development and testing for a productivity application called CODE 1440.
I would like to remain on the Free Tier and am NOT requesting a Paid Tier upgrade.
Could you please manually review the Gemini API access status of this project and determine why generateContent access is being denied?
I have not included any API keys or private credentials in this post.
Thank you.
