403 PERMISSION_DENIED - Lightning dunning decision is deny

Hello Google AI Team,

I am getting the following error when making Gemini API requests:

403 PERMISSION_DENIED

“Lightning dunning decision is deny for project: projects/924382190185”

Project name:
Meet Extractor

Project number:
9243821901..

Billing account:
01282D-05BD76-47B..

Current prepaid credit balance:
₹14,751.84

Billing status:
Paid 3

The billing account currently has sufficient prepaid credit.
The payment-method warning that appeared earlier has also disappeared.

However, Gemini API requests are still returning the same
403 PERMISSION_DENIED “Lightning dunning decision is deny”
error even after restarting my application.

Could you please check the project and clear/refresh any
Lightning dunning restriction on project 924382190185?

Hello @Director1 ,

Did you recently create a new Google Cloud Billing account to fund your credits? If so, please check the Google Cloud Console (under Billing > Account Management) to confirm whether your project is actively linked to your new, funded billing account. If it is still linked to an older billing account re-link your project to the right billing account.
