403 PERMISSION_DENIED issue

Hello Google Gemini API Team,

I am a university student developing a personal AI assistant called JARVIS for educational and development purposes.

My Gemini API project is on the Free Tier, but every generateContent request returns:

403 PERMISSION_DENIED

“Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.”

I have verified that:

  • Gemini API is enabled.

  • The API key is active.

  • The API key is restricted to the Gemini API.

  • The project is on the Free Tier.

  • The request reaches the Gemini API, but GenerateContent returns HTTP 403.

  • I am using the official Google GenAI Python SDK.

I would like to remain on the Free Tier and am not requesting paid access.

Could you please review the access restriction on my project/account and let me know whether Gemini API Free Tier access can be restored?
