2 Weeks of Broken UI & Rate Limits,Fix Your Billing Logic

Hello to the Google AI Studio team,

I just want to congratulate everyone involved in the recent UI migration. It is truly a groundbreaking user experience to pay for a Pro subscription, actively use the paid on-demand API, and still get constantly slapped with the “Free Version” rate limits.

For two solid weeks, the new UI has not only failed to load properly, but when it miraculously does, it completely ignores our paid status. We are literally locked out of the paid version we are spending our hard-earned money on, effectively being treated as free users who just hit their quota.

But hey, huge shoutout to your marketing team on X! completely ignoring the reality that your billing and access logic is fundamentally broken right now.

Could we maybe pause the hype train for a second and actually fix the backend? Being forced into free-tier limits while actively paying for Pro and API usage is absolutely unacceptable. A transparent status update on this two-week disaster would be the bare minimum.

Exactly, and they’re charging way too much i don’t even know how they can charge us without even doing any code changes, just getting hit with the free quota. I keep switching to the paid yet still nothing this is so frustrating
